The Park of Honor will again take place at Barnard Park for 2020. Two "monuments" will be erected in the park on which a Veterans information will be displayed. The Veteran's name, service dates , branch of service and sponsor will be placed on the monument. In addition to the recognition of the Veteran  , flags will be erected immediately behind the "monuments".  

There is no charge for participating in this Park of Honor.  

Please fill out the information below-we will create a laminated card for the Park of Honor from the information you submit to us. If you have previously submitted their names, you do not have to submit again.

Please note, if there  are multiple sponsors for a Veteran we will honor those requests as space provides. You may sponsor a  Veteran, as well as an active duty service member.

Herrington's donated all of the materials needed for the building of the "monuments".  The Sheffield Historical Society is a proud sponsor of the Park of Honor. 
 
Please note-because of our pandemic, we will not be having an event on November 11th-please feel free to stop by the park, visit the memorials and reflect on the service of our veterans.
